High Altitude Balloon

 High Altitude Balloon (HAB)

The HAB team is responsible for many different functions within RIT Launch Initiative. They recover and reprogram National Weather Service balloons to provide free GPS trackers for the club's rockets, fly various projects and experiments, and offer balloon flights to other sub-teams in Launch to test their payload and avionics systems at extreme altitudes without needing a rocket.

If you want to send something to 30km, just reach out to our team lead!
